Terms & conditions

Last updated 5 August 2026

The agreement between us when you buy a piece. Written to be read, not to be survived.

Who these terms are between

They are between you and White Moon Jewels. They apply when you place an order, and alongside our privacy policy, shipping policy and refund policy, which form part of the same agreement.

Placing an order

Adding a piece to your cart is an offer to buy, not a contract. The contract forms when we send the confirmation email. If we cannot fulfil an order — a stone sells first, or a price is wrong — we will tell you and refund in full rather than substitute something without asking.

Prices, taxes and duties

Prices are shown in the currency you are browsing in and include our making, the stone and the certificate. They do not include import duties, which are set by your own country and payable on arrival. We are not able to under-declare a parcel's value, and will not.

We may change prices at any time, but never after your order is confirmed.

Making time

Stock pieces leave us within two working days. Made-to-order pieces take longer, and the timeframe we quote is an estimate made in good faith, not a guarantee. If a piece is going to be materially late we will tell you and you may cancel for a full refund.

Stones and certificates

Every diamond we sell is graded by IGI or GIA — never by us. The certificate that arrives with your piece is the one that stone was graded under. Photographs are taken under studio lighting and, because stones return light differently in every room, are an honest guide rather than an exact reproduction.

Care and the lifetime promise

Resizing, retipping and rhodium plating are free for as long as you own the piece. That covers normal wear. It does not cover loss, theft, accidental damage, or work done by another jeweller — and a piece altered elsewhere ends the promise, because we can no longer answer for it.

Returns

Your right to return, and its three exceptions, are set out in full in our refund policy. Nothing in these terms reduces the rights you have under consumer law where you live.

Our content

The photographs, descriptions and designs on this site are ours. You are welcome to share them; you are not free to use them to sell jewellery. Send us anything you like about a commission, but do not send confidential information — we cannot treat unsolicited ideas as secret.

Liability

We are responsible for loss that is a foreseeable result of us breaking this agreement or failing to use reasonable care. We are not responsible for business losses, and we do not limit liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud — nor could we.

Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by the law of the jurisdiction in which we are established, and you may bring proceedings where you live. We may update these terms; the version that applies to your order is the one published when you placed it.

If any part of this is unclear, ask before you order — our contact page reaches a person.
