Refund policy
Last updated 5 August 2026
Thirty days to change your mind, in either direction, with the postage on us.
The short version
You have thirty days from delivery to return an unworn piece for a full refund. We pay the return postage and we insure it. There is no restocking fee and no minimum order value.
What we take back
A piece qualifies if it comes back within thirty days of delivery, unworn, in its original packaging, and with its grading certificate. The certificate matters: without it the stone cannot be re-sold as graded, and we cannot refund it in full.
Resizing does not affect your right to return — a piece we resized for you is still returnable within the same thirty days.
What we cannot take back
Three exceptions, and we would rather be plain about them before you order than after.
- Engraved pieces. Once your words are inside the band it cannot be sold to anyone else.
- Bespoke commissions. A piece designed to your brief is yours alone; we ask for approval at the CAD stage precisely so there are no surprises.
- Pierced earrings once the seal is broken, for hygiene reasons.
None of these limits your rights if the piece arrives faulty or is not what you ordered.
Starting a return
Write to us with your order number and we will send an insured, prepaid label the same working day. Use the original box if you still have it, and do not write anything about jewellery on the outside of the parcel.
Keep the proof of postage. Until the parcel reaches us, that receipt is what the insurance is claimed against.
Refunds
We inspect a returned piece within two working days of arrival and refund to the original payment method the same day it passes. Your bank then takes between three and ten working days to show it — that part is out of our hands.
We refund what you paid, including any original shipping charge. Import duties paid to your own country are reclaimed from your customs authority, not from us; ask and we will send the paperwork you need.
Exchanges and resizing
Resizing is free for the life of the piece, not just for thirty days. If the size is the only thing wrong, ask for a resize rather than a refund and you keep the ring you chose.
For any other exchange we refund the original and take a fresh order, so you are never waiting on one to clear before the other begins.
If something is faulty
Tell us and we will put it right — repair, replacement or refund, whichever you prefer. Send photographs if you can; they often let us skip a step. A manufacturing fault is our responsibility for as long as you own the piece, and nothing on this page limits that.
Cancelling before dispatch
An in-stock order can be cancelled any time before it ships, at no cost. A made-to-order piece can be cancelled until we cut metal — after that we can usually still stop short of completion and refund the difference. Ask; we will tell you honestly where yours has reached.
Starting a return, or unsure whether yours qualifies? Ask us through our contact page before you post anything — it is usually simpler than you expect.
